What is CBG?
CBG stands for Cannabigerol, often called the “mother” cannabinoid of the cannabis/hemp plant. It is unique because it interacts directly with both CB1 and CB2 receptors, which activate the body’s endocannabinoid system.
Why CBG?
CBG is where cannabinoids start. It is the original compound from which others like CBD and THC develop. After researching and testing, CBG simply made the most sense. And importantly, it worked for us and the people we love.
How is CBG different from CBD?
While both share similar properties, their chemical compositions differ, which affects their efficacy. CBG binds directly to your CB1 & CB2 receptors, whereas CBD promotes your body’s production of its own endocannabinoids to connect with those receptors.
Does CBG contain THC?
No. CBG does not contain THC or cause psychoactive effects. Although it acts on the same receptors as THC, it doesn’t induce a “high” but can promote a calming sensation.
Are there side effects?
Most people tolerate CBG well, even in large amounts. Possible side effects may include:
- Increased Appetite
- Dry Mouth
What does Full Spectrum mean?
Full Spectrum means the product contains all cannabinoids and terpenes naturally found in the cannabis plant, creating a synergistic effect that enhances medicinal benefits.
